Poll Results - Mobile Internet Usage India?I know its been a while I had this poll here. The poll was "Do you use mobile internet?". I got good votes from my visitors and the options were Yes, No and what is internet.
56% visitors voted for Yes as they do use Mobile Internet. ~35% visitors voted "No", they don't use mobile internet. While ~9% people voted for "what is mobile internet?" assuming they have no idea about mobile internet.
According to nokia research, India has 37.1 million mobile internet users. While most of the mobile internet users are interested only in the "ABC" (Astrology, Bollywood & Cricket), India has not reached to its potential for mobile internet yet.
May be the launch of iPhone in India by Vodafone and Airtel can change the statistics of mobile internet usage in India.
