If you are living in Delhi or Mumbai and have bought MTNL Pigeon VoIP Services, you would be wondering how you can configure your new MTNL Pigeon VoIP at home. MTNL Pigeon VoIP is nothing but another ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) that converts your analog audio signals and convert them to digital data and send it across the internet.

When you buy MTNL Pigeon service, they send you a device that connects to your broadband router and has an input for regular phone jack.

So here are the steps to configure your MTNL Pigeon ATA

1. Put the power charger(circular cord) into the ATA (Black colored instrument Handy Tone-286). Red light will appear on the ATA
2. Now take your telephone instrument wire and plug it in the smaller rectangle. Again you will see red light on the ATA
3. Take your blue broadband wire from the box and insert it in the 3rd port of the Type-II modem and other side of the cord into the ATA. Now you will see color of the light on the ATA will change to green but it will blink.
4. Leave the ATA instrument with all the connections for 2 minutes for self configuration of the ATA.
5. After 2 minutes you will observe that there is no light on the ATA machine that shows it is now configured.
6. Pick up the handset and dial 225# and you wuold hear - "You have 1 paise left on your card".

1. Go to VoIPRenewal - MTNL Delhi
2. Enter the details of your scrach card as per required
3. To check your account balance dial 225#
4. To check your MTNL Pigeon usage go to WSCVoip-MTNLDelhi. Login with your username and password which is mentioned on your ATA box.
   

To call international numbers using your MTNL Pigeon VoIP, dial country code + area code + number e.g. 001 + 360 + 1234567
