Recently, in February 2007 he is involved in the controversy of a Bentley car alleged to be presented to Abhishek Bachchan.
Everybody knows that he is a close friend of Amitabh Bachchan. But why is he always sticking with Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan? Everytime you see Amitabh bachchan at any social get-together, Amar Singh is always with him. Whether it be a Family Tirupati Trip, Birthday celebration or Film Fare Awards.

Recently I heard on Zee news that Amitabh Bachchan, Amar Singh and Anil Ambani visited Tirupati Balaji to pray for Abhishek and Aishwarya's wedding. And all three of them donated 51 Lacks Rs. to Tirupati Balaji.
But the point is.... Why is he sitting in between Amitabh and Jaya @ Film Fare ?? And for that matter, at any functions, you would see him interfering between Jaya & Amitabh.
